Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
ED2Recovery program. This includes peer specialist services being
provided through Aurora, Ascension, and Froedtert hospitals as well
as other community-based locations. The Supervisor is required to
be a Certified Peer Specialist and is responsible for supervising
staff, ensuring the programs are in full compliance with all
contract requirements, collaborating with funding sources, and
ensuring quality services are being provided to the people being
served. Essential Functions:
- Embraces and role models recovery during all interactions with
staff and the people being served.
- Monitor all contract requirements for Ed2Recovery services
(i.e. supervision, Redcap and AWARDS documentation, GPRA reporting,
monthly hospital reports for Ascension).
- Hires, orients, and trains all new staff; facilitates
administrative staff meetings.
- Facilitates monthly SPAC meetings, records minutes, and sends
minutes to Wisconsin Voices for Recovery.
- Maintains the ED2Recovery spreadsheet that accounts for
intakes, discharges, and program declines.
- Provides 1:1 supervision weekly to each Peer Specialist.
- Attends clinical staff meetings as needed and closely
communicates with Clinician/Director to monitor the needs of
individuals who are considered high risk and in need of additional
support.
- Processes new referrals and completes case assignments to peers
as needed.
- Meets regularly with funding sources and hospital staff as well
as Wisconsin Voices for Recovery team members.
- Presents on the topic of peer support and/or recovery via
informational sessions or meetings with contract partners and other
community-based organizations.
- Completes annual staff evaluations in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all paperwork is completed in a timely
manner.
- Closely monitors staff weekly service hours via utilization of
AWARDS reports.
- Acts as a liaison between program staff and provider
networks.
- Fulfills terms of contract and responds to all issues regarding
program service provision.
- Attends Monthly/Quarterly provider meetings and all other
trainings as required.
- Responsible for monthly reports, data collection, and other
contract requirements.
- Ensures that appropriate disciplinary actions are taken as
outlined in agency's policy and procedure manual.
- Assists with the completion of any required annual program
evaluations.
- Responsible for CRC and Agency Demographic Report (compiling
information to complete monthly admissions and discharges,
appropriate QA of the information and timely submission).
- May provide direct services based on coverage and program
needs. Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be a Certified Peer Specialist with a minimum of two years
of experience as a Peer Specialist.
- One year of leadership experience preferred.
- In addition, must have substance, mental health, and
co-occurring knowledge and skills with the ability to clearly
communicate these to others
- Knowledge of agency policies and procedures and the ability to
relay them to others
- Ability to serve people during crisis situations
- Strong supervision skills and the ability to maintain and
promote positive working relationships
- Excellent assessment and interviewing skill
- Ability to support staff in difficult situations
- Effective use of time and resources to help maintain quality
services.
- Must have knowledge of the Peer Specialist Code of Conduct.
Minimal Qualifications:
- High school or GED/HSED required
- The Supervisor is required to be a Certified Peer Specialist
with a minimum of two years of experience providing peer support
services.
- One year of experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Must meet all WCS and contractor requirements for criminal and
caregiver background, driver's record, and reference checks.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable record, automobile, and
sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.

Work Relationship and Scope: Reports to the Program Coordinator;
has contact with a wide variety of individuals including
individuals being served, all program staff, funding sources, and
the general public. Personal Attributes: Follow agency Code of

agency and of all funding sources; conduct self in an ethical
manner; maintain professional and respectful relationships with
program staff, other WCS staff, people being served by the program,
and all external persons and agencies involved with service

needs; demonstrate commitment to agency values and mission. Strong
commitment to embracing peer specialists. Working Conditions: Some
of the work is done sitting at a desk and using the computer;
requires provision of services and oversite of staff; 40 hours per
week; flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and
weekends to meet the needs of the program. Physical Demands:
Position is both in the office and in the community; driving is
done in the community and visiting people in their homes and in
hospitals is required; must be able to go up and down stairs;
reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with
