build brilliant together. : THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:The Associate
Category Manager is responsible for partnering closely with the Sr.
Category Managers in identifying and acquiring new sellers to join
the platform. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the identification and recruitment of new sellers
across key-priority categories in alignment with Ulta Beautys
marketplace strategy
- Developing and pitching value propositions to prospective
sellers, highlighting the benefits of joining the Ulta Beauty
marketplace
- Identifying potential sellers that align with the marketplace's
strategic goals and product categories
- Executing seller acquisition strategies, including outreach,
partnerships, and marketing campaigns
- Negotiating and finalizing contracts with new sellers, ensuring
compliance with marketplace policies and standards
- Forecasting volume and number of new sellers and activities
required to incubate them
- Educating sellers on features, promotional campaign and market
insights
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a
seamless seller experience on the platform
- Manage administrative tasks required to support the ongoing
growth of the Marketplace.
- Interacting with stakeholders of different teams to ensure
products sold by new sellers receive enough visibility on the
product pages : ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- A Bachelors degree in business, analytics, or a related field;
advanced degree preferred but not required.
- 2+ years experience in retail, e-commerce, business development
or sales; experience with B2B environment preferred
- Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven
track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue
growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to build and maintain relationships with sellers and
internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to use data to drive decision-making
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, including
seller onboarding, product listing, and order management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage
multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to
close deals and drive revenue growth
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and
taking ownership of your work.
- Team player who is willing to collaborate with others to
achieve shared goals.
- Passionate about e-commerce and excited about the opportunity
to help sellers succeed on the platform. : The pay range for this
position is $76,100.00 - $100,000.00 / Year with the opportunity
for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to
the Companys bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors
including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications,
certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and
business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible
for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability
benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision,
