Position Summary Teach undergraduate Spanish courses.
The University of St. Francis is a welcoming community of learners. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach undergraduate Spanish courses during Fall semester 2025. Minimum Requirements * Master's degree in Spanish, other appropriate equivalent degree or equivalent experience;
* Ability to teach at the undergraduate level and commitment to undergraduate education;
* Willingness to uphold and fulfill the mission, vision, values, and traditions of the University of St. Francis;
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. Preferred Requirements * Native Spanish speaker;
* Prior experience teaching Spanish;
* Ability to teach in person or blended modality. Hours/Shift/Work Schedule Courses will be held in-person or through a blended modality on USF Main Campus in Joliet, IL.
The semester begins August 18, 2025. Physical Requirements of Position Work is performed in classroom settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
